Office will be staffed during normal hours.
Phones, emails and other communication will continue to be monitored and responded to.
Meal Service (pick-up and delivery options) and transportation services will continue, we will continue to assess these operations based on community need and the safety of our staff.
All other routine operations are suspended.
Senior Center Inclement Weather Policy
If Manchester Public Schools are Closed due to bad weather, all Senior Center activities/classes/transportation/lunches are cancelled and the Senior Center will be closed. However, the staff still reports in the office.
If Manchester Public Schools are Delayed 2 HOURS due to bad weather, the Senior Center morning activities/classes/transportation services from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. are cancelled. Classes that start at 10:30 a.m. will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the Senior Center will open at 10:30 a.m.
Senior Center Closings and Delays will be publicized as described below:
If travel becomes hazardous during the course of the day due to bad weather, staff may decide to cancel activities for the remainder of the day. If this occurs, all bus passengers will be driven home. No passenger will be left stranded. Members are encouraged to check for cancellations or delays during inclement weather.
